PITTSBURGH -- One of the first players to have committed to the Pitt Panthers' class of 2024 is also exploring some of his other options this spring. He's set visits to other schools, including one of the Panthers' biggest rivals.

Four-star Pitt wide receiver commit Ric'Darious Farmer told Pittsburgh Sports Now that, in addition to a visit to the Steel City, he will visit West Virginia and Marshall. Farmer does not have any dates set for visits elsewhere and is considering finding more schools to spend official visits with. Right now, he has three of his five slots filled.

Farmer said he wants to experience more places and get a complete picture of the schools recruiting him before his high school career ends. He added that while he does welcome any other schools who want to recruit him, he is "100% locked in" with Pitt.

Farmer, a native of Cocoa, Florida, chose Pitt over the likes of Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, Miami, Michigan State, Missouri, Penn State, Virginia and West Virginia. Texas A&M extended an offer to the blue-chip wideout back in late February.
