With the Spring season approaching fast, not only is it time to get excited about spring football, but it's also almost time for Gamecock Baseball to start. South Carolina is under a month away from opening their season against Miami (Ohio) on February 16th, where they will play at home for that series and the whole month of February.

Last season, Coach Mark Kingston finished with a 42-21 record and 16-13 in conference play and made it to the Super Regionals, where they went on to lose to the Florida Gators. Now marks a brand-new year and a new start for this team and fanbase who wants to return to Omaha for the first time since 2012.

Coach Kingston is heading into his 7th season with a team that's loaded in the field and batting lineup, which has to DraftKings giving the Gamecocks the twelfth-best odds to win the World Series.

The path for the Gamecocks will be challenging as they will face six of the teams listed above them on the list and seven preseason top 25 teams based on D1Baseball.com's rankings. Mark and the Gamecocks have their work cut out for them, competing in another challenging year in the SEC.
