ICYMI: Gamecock Commit Eli Ellis Does It Again with Big 4th Quarter
Stop me if you read this before, but Eli Ellis is still doing Eli Ellis things and went absolutely insane in the fourth quarter to help lift his team to victory. The YNG Dreamerz, whom Eli Ellis and his brother Issac Ellis play, found themselves down 59-45 to the City Reapers and, at one point, were down 20 points. Still, that lead wouldn't hold as Eli Ellis caught fire in the fourth quarter, dropping 20 points with two clutch free-throws and three assists to force the game into overtime.
Eli Ellis and the YNG Dreamerz would go on to win in overtime by a final score of 91-88, with Issac Ellis hitting the game-winner. Eli would be elected as the player of the game, finishing with 30 points, ten assists, five rebounds, and four steals, which pushed the Dreamerz to a 12-4 record and the top of the standings. Eli averages 33.4 points per game, nearly 10 more than the second-leading scorer.
