The South Carolina Gamecocks didn't let short rest from an emotional win over No. 9 LSU get the best of them in their Sunday win over Vanderbilt. While the Commodores kept things close early, Dawn Staley's squad was too much from the second quarter on, thanks to some noticeable standout performances. So, we decided to award some of the players with game balls.

1) Kamilla Cardoso

After not having her best game in Baton Rouge last week, Cardoso showed up to play from the jump against Vanderbilt. Tying her Gamecock career high of 23 points on the afternoon, she led all scorers and finished with six rebounds and two blocks. This is the third time Cardoso has scored 20 or more points this season.

2) Raven Johnson

Johnson continues to put out consistent all-around performances night in and night out. She finished the game with ten points, but what highlighted her afternoon were the seven assists and zero turnovers. Making the most of every possession for Carolina and not giving any extra ones to your opponent will always allow your team to be competitive and efficient on offense.

3) Ashlyn Watkins

Watkins was all over the court for the Gamecocks this afternoon. She was attacking the boards on both ends of the floor, finishing the contest with eight rebounds, including two offensive boards. She also finished the game with 11 points, the ninth time she's had a double-digit output this season. She also recorded three blocks today, the ninth time she's accomplished that feat this season.
