BRACKETOLOGY: Gamecocks Make Another Leap In Joe Lunardi's Bracket

South Carolina's men's basketball team is once again trending upward in bracket projections after another upset win over a top-ranked team.

As we inch closer and closer to the month of March, another shakeup has taken place in the world of bracketology, as Joe Lunardi has released his latest NCAA Tournament projections. The South Carolina Gamecocks, basking in the glow of a recent upset victory over No. 5 Tennessee, have now been elevated to a six-seed in Lunardi's updated bracket.

The Gamecocks' rise to a six seed, marked as the No. 24 overall seed in Joe's projections, is a new found respect seemingly that South Carolina had not been receiving prior to the win over the Vols. Lunardi's projections have always been a subject of intense scrutiny and excitement for fans and teams alike, and his latest release is no exception.

This season, the SEC is once again demonstrating its competitive depth, with numerous schools being featured prominently in the bracket:
