Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks return home in the Colonial Life Area after a hard-fought victory on a neutral site against Utah. They welcome Presbyterian, who had a respectable 8-3 record coming into today's game. South Carolina looked to stay undefeated and earn their 10th win of the season, and they did just that behind freshman guard MiLaysia Fulwiley, winning 99-29.

While Fulwiley was very impressive, even hitting a last-second shot going into halftime, the more remarkable feature was just how well the Gamecocks as a whole were able to score with relative ease. Three players were already at or past the 10-point mark at halftime: Fulwiley(12), Watkins(10), and Hall(10), and eight players registered a made basket in the first half, scoring 59 points as a team.

The Gamecocks would come out slow offensively in the second half, but their defense remained dominant. They held Presbyterian to 3-27 shooting and forced 15 turnovers while having 11 blocks led by Kamilla Carodoso. The Gamecocks would get going offensively, led by freshman Tessa Johnson. Malaysia Fulwiley tied her previous career high of 18 points and finished the game with 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and four steals.

Dawn Staley has a lot to be proud of, with the team scoring nearly 100 points again and seeing both Ashley Watkins and Chole Kitts recording double-doubles. The Gamecocks will prepare to head up to Bowling Green in Ohio, where they will face off Tuesday night at 7 pm.
