After what Dawn Staley termed a ''disheartening" performance against the Mississippi State Bulldogs, where the South Carolina Gamecocks struggled to maintain championship-level consistency in their 19-point win, the team will play in the 'other Columbia' tomorrow night against the Missouri Tigers. The Tigers have gotten off to a rough start this season, currently possessing a 9-6 record and losing each of their first two conference matchups against LSU and Alabama.

Missouri is a team that likes to try and beat their opponents from deep, being tied for the 46th-highest mark in women's college basketball in terms of average three-point attempts per game (24.3). The Tigers are led by graduate forward Hayley Frank, a fourth-year starter who was named a First-team All-SEC selection and is currently averaging 16.5 points, shooting 45.9 percent from the floor and 37.6 percent from behind the arc through 15 games this season.

This will be a game where the Gamecocks' perimeter defenders will be tested as far as their ability to fight through off-ball screens and stop catch-and-shoot three-point attempts are concerned. Bree Hall, Chloe Kitts, and others will have to stay on their toes defensively, considering that Missouri likes to play with four players around the three-point line.
