Trent Noah, a Top 150 Shooting Guard, Makes His College Choice
Trent Noah's decision to commit to the Gamecocks over his top options - Stanford, Butler, Western Kentucky, Dayton, Richmond, Seton Hall, and Saint Louis - marks a significant addition to the basketball program. Trent was thorough in his college search, making official visits to each of these schools, as well as Loyola-Chicago, before making his choice.
One of Trent's standout qualities is his exceptional three-point shooting ability, evident in his impressive 43.7% success rate on the Adidas Circuit during this summer. This skill has earned him recognition, with a three-star ranking from both 247 Sports and ON3 Sports.
In the current rankings, 247 Sports holds Trent in high regard, placing him at No. 131 nationally, No. 27 among small forwards, and No. 2 in the state of Kentucky. ON3 Sports, while still acknowledging his talent, positions him at No. 146 nationally, No. 27 among shooting guards, and No. 2 in the state of Kentucky.
Lamont Paris, along with the Gamecocks, is building a promising 2024 class. Trent Noah's commitment joins Finnish power forward Okku Federiko, another three-star prospect according to ON3 Sports. Okku stands tall at 6 feet 8 inches and weighs 190 pounds, bringing additional depth and potential to the team's future endeavors. With these additions, the Gamecocks are poised for an exciting and competitive season ahead.
