Shane Beamer got on Carolina Calls on Thursday to discuss the Gamecocks' upcoming matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers and, in doing so, provided some of the latest information on some South Carolina players who have dealt with injuries in recent weeks.

Tennessee Injury Report

  • WR Juice Wells - OUT: Juice Wells hasn't played a snap since the first offensive possession against the Georgia Bulldogs in week three, and has been dealing with injury since preseason camp. It's not thought to be a season-ending issue, but will be reevaluated during the bye week, per Shane Beamer.
  • OL Jakai Moore - QUESTIONABLE: Hurt his shoulder in the first quarter of the Gamecocks' recent matchup against the Mississippi State Bulldogs. If unable to go on Saturday night, freshman Trovon Baugh would get the start.
  • DB David Spaudling - AVAILABLE: Having dealt with a hamstring issue since the beginning of the season, Spaulding practiced every day this week, but isn't expected to be 100 percent
  • DB O'Donnell Fortune - AVAILABLE: After falling awkwardly on his knee in practice late last week, Fortune practiced every day this week, but like Spaulding, won't necessarily be 100 percent.
  • WR Ahmarean Brown - AVAILABLE: After suffering a hamstring injury against Furman in week two, Brown practiced every day this week, but like the others isn't quite 100 percent.
