It's quickly becoming a broken record in Columbia, SC, but Shane Beamer and the South Carolina Gamecocks are facing yet another pivotal season, one that will give them a chance to exceed national expectations for the third consecutive year. The month of August will allow the Gamecocks to work out most of their kinks and figure out who they can rely on consistently. So what stood out about Carolina's first Fall camp practice on Friday morning?

While special team and position-specific drills took up most of the allotted time the media had today, we got a glimpse of the first and second-team offenses running plays against air, and I recorded the whole lineup for both groups.

First-Team Offense

QB: Spencer Rattler

RB: Dakereon Joyner

Outside WR's: O'Mega Blake and Xavier Legette

Slot WR: Ahmarean Brown

Tight End: Trey Knox

Left Tackle: Jakai Moore

Left Guard: Nick Gargiulo

Center: Vershon Lee

Right Guard: Trai Jones

Right Tackle: Sidney Fugar

Second-Team Offense

QB: Luke Doty

RB: Mario Anderson Jr.

Outside WR's: Joseph Morris and Peyton Mangrum

Slot WR: Landon Samson

Tight End: Joshua Simon

Left Tackle: Oluwatosin Babalade

Left Guard: Trovon Baugh

Center: Grayson Mains

Right Guard: JonDarius Morgan

Right Tackle: Tyshawn Wannamaker

Regarding notable appearances and absences, we'll start at running back. Dakereon Joyner got after it in the Spring and parlayed his work into the Gamecocks' Summer strength and conditioning program, packing 13 pounds of muscle to his already 216-pound frame. Joyner's hard work has clearly helped him separate himself from the rest of the group, as he got all the first-team reps at that spot.

Markdown Sidney Fugar as a new name to watch at right tackle. The Western Illinois transfer had a big Summer in his own right, adding twelve pounds to his already large build. He could be someone that challenges Tyshawn Wannamaker and Cason Henry in a big way heading into Week 1.

Antwane "Juice" Wells was noticeably a non-participant in this portion of practice, which was weird because he was there on Friday and fully dressed out. I'm not sure what to make of that, and I am not going to speculate, as it could've been something completely innocent, like the staff wanting to see what the other guys looked like. It certainly will catch my eye if it remains the case over the next week and a half or so.
