While every game matters in the SEC, certain games always have just a little bit extra meaning for a fanbase and a program, like the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama or the world's largest cocktail party between Georgia and Florida. South Carolina doesn't consider the Tennessee Volunteers a rival, and that feeling is reciprocated in Knoxville, but after what both teams have done to each other over the past two seasons and the absolute wars both fanbases have waged on each other on social media this offseason, Saturday's matchup suddenly feels like it has a bit more weight to it.

For that reason, Shane Beamer's staff and the fanbase would love to have as many players available for this game as possible, and while we all know that's not how life is in this conference, things are getting better for the Gamecocks in this department. When Shane Beamer talked to the media during his Sunday night teleconference, he said the majority of the guys who've been banged up were "fine" and that the only player doubtful to play this week against Tennessee is wide receiver Antwane "Juice" Wells.

Taking Beamer's word for it, this would mean that guys like wide receiver Ahmarean Brown and defensive backs David Spaulding and O'Donnell Fortune should be able to play against the Volunteers this weekend, but you never know what can change in terms of injury status as a week progresses.
