BREAKING: Darius Rush Drafted By The Indianapolis Colts
South Carolina's Football program had a good night on Friday night, as they witnessed two of their defensive stars from the Shane Beamer era in Cam Smith and Zacch Pickens be officially drafted by the Miami Dolphins and the Chicago Bears respectively. The only true surprise yesterday evening was the fact that Darius Rush didn't hear his name callled, as multiple projections had him going in the third round.
Rush, however, was a guarantee to not be passed on on day three of the NFL Draft, as he was drafted by the Colts with the 138th pick in the fifth round on Saturday afternoon. Rush is coming off the heels of a solid college career, which saw him record 74 total tackles, 18 pass deflections and 3 interceptions in the two years he started on the Gamecocks' defense. Now Colts fans will get a chance to see why he became a fan favorite for South Carolina fans.
