The Gamecocks' offense needed to make some changes and adjustments during the bye week, and they most certainly did. They made some changes to the offensive line, got the freshman Nyckoles Harbor in on several different occasions, and ran the ball effectively. How did we grade them?

Quarterback: A

You couldn't ask for much more from Spencer Rattler in this game, outside of the pick, where he was trying to make a play at the end. He ended the game with 313 yards through the air and added nearly 50 yards on the ground, all while making the correct reads.

Running Backs: A

Led by Mario Anderson Jr., who had 98 yards on 20 carries, the running backs did well today when they were called upon. As a group, they managed to have 161 total yards and factored into the passing game as well. Each week, Anderson continues to get better in pass protection, picking up blitzes and showing he may be one of the best backs in the SEC.

Offensive Line: A-

A few things still need some work, but this was by far the most complete game the offensive line has played this year. The group gave Rattler time and was able to produce in the run game, something they've struggled with all season. Overall, Lonnie Teasley's unit played head over heels better than they have.

Tight Ends: A

The easy part to notice is how Trey Knox and Joshua Simon helped in the passing game, combining for over 80 yards and two touchdowns, but they both were pretty good in run-blocking. On a couple of occasions, both had great seal blocks to allow the backs to hit on big games.

Wide Receiver: B-

This was another one of those weeks where Xavier Legette's performance may overshadow the ability to create separation consistently from this group. While there was a big play by true freshman Nyck Harbor, and O'Mega Blake made a crucial third down grab, outside of Legette, the wideouts only had 80 yards, something that has to be fixed sooner rather than later.

While the result of the game didn't turn out the way most wanted or thought it would, the offense showed the ability to learn and grow during the bye week and may have to be nearly perfect in the remaining games to keep this team compet
