Shane Beamer Gives The Latest Injury Update Ahead Of Florida Matchup
The South Carolina Gamecocks are the healthiest they've been in several weeks after Shane Beamer and his football team were able to use their week six bye week to get some extra time away from the football field and allow everyone to mentally and physically recover from the grind that is major college football. Beamer indicated at his weekly Tuesday press conference that aside from the more long-term injuries, the Gamecocks were gonna have almost everyone available for their matchup against the Florida Gators on Saturday.
That remains the case on Thursday as Shane told Gamecock play-by-play announcer Todd Ellis on his weekly Carolina Calls Radio Show, with the one exception being that backup offensive tackle Jaxon Hughes won't be able to play on Saturday after getting banged up in practice earlier this week.
Florida Injury Report

- OL Jaxon Hughes - OUT: Got banged up a little bit in practice a couple of days ago. He won't play this week.
