LIVE UPDATES: Spencer Rattler's Swan Song At The Reese's Senior Bowl
Today, former South Carolina football star Spencer Rattler will be suiting up for the final time before the 2024 NFL Draft, as he takes the field with other college football upperclassmen looking to leave a lasting impression on NFL scouts and front office personnel who are in attendance down in Mobile, AL.
Rattler has earned praise throughout the week from several reputable figures in the NFL community and was named the American Team's best quarterback in practice this week by opposing defenders who went up against him. Xavier Legette, however, won't be playing due to the lingering effects from some ankle soreness he's been dealing with throughout the week. Instead, he'll likely be on the sideline cheering on his college teammate.
Rattler will be waring No. 2, the same jersey number he wore back in high school. I'll have some live updates down below:
First Drive: 3-3 for 53 yards, including a 29-yard TD pass to Georgia WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Second Drive: 1-1 for 11 yards. Offense goes four-and-out due to a penalty.
