Watch: Trey Knox Emotional Living Out A Dream
Sometimes, it is often forgotten just how crazy and surreal this moment can be for athletes leading up to and during the NFL Combine. As Former Gamecock Tight End Trey Knox said, "The dreams of a five-year-old kid back in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is playing out in front of my eyes.". He also elaborated on offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains impact on him.
I have never really been through hardship, I don't want to play that up because its just a game at the end of the day, started in high school, college as a true freshman and then getting benched and being at the bottom of the depth chart and moving possessions and I had a bunch of self-doubt. Meeting a guy like Dowell made me love the game again, and i think everything he's done for me...
Trey Knox finished his Gamecocks career with 37 receptions, 312 yards, and two receiving touchdowns, averaging 8.4 yards per carry. Knox's career has been the easiest, but at the end of the day, he continues to put on a smile, work, and continue to try and live out that dream he once had as a five-year-old kid.
