BREAKING: Machester United and Liverpool To Play In Williams-Brice Stadium
Williams-Brice has earned a reputation as one of the toughest environments to play in, both in the SEC and college football. South Carolina football fans are well-respected for the energy they bring, which the university has matched in recent years with new additions like the stadium's LED lights.
Now, two teams from across the pond will be taking their teams to Columbia this Summer in a match that will have fans around the world buzzing, as Williams-Brice Stadium will serve host to an exhibition between Manchester United and Liverpool Football Clubs of the Premier League.
Manchester United and Liverpool are two of the biggest brands in European football, with millions of fans around the world having watched United win 20 league titles and three UEFA Champions League titles; Liverpool isn't too far behind their counterparts in red, having won 19 league titles of their own right. This match will bring great exposure to the university and football program, who are undoubtedly fired up for this exhibition to happen.
