WATCH: Zacch Pickens Goes Through Drills At NFL Combine

Former South Carolina Football player Zacch Pickens showcased his athleticism in multiple ways at the NFL Combine on Thursday.

South Carolina's Football program is set to be well represented at the NFL Scouting Combine this weekend, as five former Gamecock players will have performed on-field drills in front of a bevy of scouts, coaches and front office executives by the end of Sunday. The first South Carolina alum to get an opportunity to prove his on-field worth on Thursday was defensive tackle Zacch Pickens, who's had a great offseason so far in terms of improving his draft stock.

Live coverage of Zacch Pickens combine workout started with the 40-yard dash, which Pickens completed in 4.89 seconds, ranking 6th out of all the interior defensive linemen who participated.

A couple of other drills Zacch was involved in were both the four bag agility and run the hoop drills, where Pickens displayed both proficient fluidity in his movement and fantastic body dexterity.

Pickens also posted the fourth best vertical jump at 30.5 inches and tied for the best broad jump out of all of the defensive tackles, recording a broad jump of 9 feet and 8 inches. Overall, Pickens showed everyone in attendance how great of a multi-faceted athlete he is for his size, which is something that should propel him up draft boards coming out of this weekend.
