LOOK: Dylan Stewart Posts Video From Recent Visit To South Carolina
When it comes to high school football recruiting, there's always a few prospects who everyone can universally say are the best amongst their peers in their respective class. That's the case with 2024 Edge defender Dylan Stewart from Washington, D.C., who's regarded as the best prospect in the country by On3 sports and is a massive target for Shane Beamer and South Carolina's coaching staff.
The Gamecocks have begun to deal with stiffer competition in the form of historic programs like Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and others as well. South Carolina, however, has hosted Dylan for six different visits, including one for the Gamecocks' Spring game this past weekend. While not no public comment has been made yet regarding the visit, Stewart posted a video from his recent visit on Tuesday afternoon, one that sent Gamecock fans into a frenzy.
While there's nothing objectively speaking to take away from the video regarding the Gamecocks' standing in Stewart's recruitment, it's clear that the recruiting department is pulling out all the stops for the five-star pass rusher based on the production of this video shoot, conveying how much of a priority the Friendship Collegiate Academy product is for the program.
Stewart is scheduled to take an official visit to Columbia on the weekend of June 23rd-25th, and will also take official visits to Georgia and Ohio State that same month.
