Mike Williams Includes South Carolina In Top 8
Offensive Lines Coach Lonnie Teasley has quickly proven to be one of the most valuable assistant coaches in the nation through his work recruiting the offensive line. South Carolina has already secured Kam Pringle's commitment and is working towards commitments from Josiah Thompson and Blake Franks.
While Teasley and the coaching staff have been working hard on the recruits mentioned previously, they also have been working toward other 2024 linemen, such as Mike Williams. Their efforts have paid off, as Williams has narrowed his recruiting list to eight schools and kept South Carolina in the race.
Williams, a 2024 offensive tackle from Baltimore, has made significant strides in his game and has received some prominent offers since the start of the new year. Though the 6-7 tackle is just a three-star, he displays some mature skills which will be translatable at the college level.
South Carolina must compete with USC, Michigan State, Maryland, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Miami, and West Virginia for Williams' commitment.
