2025 Gamecock Target Amare Adams Sets Commitment Date
South Carolina's Football program is getting ready to go through what can be best described as a transfer portal cycle full of unorganized chaos. That doesn't mean, however, that Shane Beamer and this Gamecock coaching staff are going to ignore high school recruiting for the 2024 and 2025 classes, as they look to finish the former cycle strong and lay the groundwork for potentially another Top 20 high school class this next cycle.
One target who's long been a priority for Carolina is four-star defensive tackle Amare Adams. Adams has taken countless visits to Columbia, including one last weekend for the Gamecocks regular season finale against their archrivals in the Clemson Tigers. Although he doesn't have to sign any national letter of intent for another 12 months, it appears that Amare is ready to shut down the recruiting process, as he posted on X late Monday night that he plans to announce his commitment on December the 3rd.
Amare last cut his list down to seven schools on July 11th, which included the Gamecocks, Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, and Tennessee.
