As official visits this Summer begins to wrap up, we are nearing the commitment decisions of many prospects from the 2024 class. One of the athletes whose commitment is anticipated is 2024 defensive back and South Carolina Football target Kaj Sanders, who will announce his commitment on July 8th.

According to an article by the Rutgers Wire, Sanders, who will be committing in just over a week, will choose between four schools; Rutgers, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and South Carolina. Though Sanders did not announce his final four, he has seemingly confirmed its legitimacy on Twitter.

Sanders took his official visit to South Carolina at the start of June and followed that visit with official visits to Wisconsin, North Carolina, Rutgers, and Miami. Like many other elite football talents that have been to Columbia this Summer for an official visit, Sanders thoroughly enjoyed his time with the South Carolina.

Sander's exceptional speed and field awareness make him a dynamic talent in the defensive backfield. Doubling as a record-setting track runner, Sanders can seamlessly run from sideline to sideline to pick off a pass or blow up a pass-catcher. He also serves as a viable last defense to the run, not afraid to be physical and lay the wood on an opposing ball carrier.

If following the visits, it seems that South Carolina trails Rutgers, as he's taken two to Columbia and four to New Brunswick. Even if that's the case, the gap between the two is likely razor-thin, meaning it should be a fight down to the end.
