Faheem Delane Releases Top 11 Schools
Though primarily focused on the class of 2024, South Carolina has made productive strides in beginning their 2025 recruiting class. That trend continued to pay dividends on Friday, as one of the top safeties in the class of 2025, Faheem Delane, included South Carolina in his top eleven list.
The Maryland native has developed into one of the most dynamic players in the class of 2025. The 6-2 180-pound defensive back is an incredibly gifted athlete with mature talents far beyond his age. Ranked as the fourth-best safety in the class of 2025, Delane will be a high-impact freshman in whichever program he chooses.
Aside from South Carolina, Delane's list includes fellow SEC schools Alabama, LSU, and Florida. USC, Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and Maryland round out Delane's list.
South Carolina, a team with a recent history of excellent play in the secondary, would be a great fit for Delane. With players like Cam Smith and Darius Rush looking to be premier picks in this year's NFL Draft, Delane could join a long list of formidable Gamecock defensive backs.
