Stanford drops regular season finale against Oregon

The Cardinal were unable to end the regular season on a high note

Stanford's season has not been one to remember by any means, and they finished the regular season just how they started it, with a loss.

One game before the Pac-12 tournament, the Cardinal found themselves on the second leg of their Oregon road trip following a big win over Oregon State, unfortunately for Stanford, they came up short against Oregon.

Senior Spencer Jones made four threes and scored 18 points for the Cardinal who now have a 13-18 (7-13) record, and will be the No. 10 seed in next week's conference tournament in Las Vegas. Brandon Angel also scored 18 points of his own with Harrison Ingram adding 11 and Maxime Raynaud contributing 10 as well.

The team turned the ball over 13 times to Oregon's eight, and also had 18 fouls. Barring the Cardinal winning the Pac-12 tournament, this will mark the seventh straight year under Jerod Haase that the program has missed out on March Madness.

Stanford opens up the tournament against Utah.
