In order to help revamp the roster and overcome their demons that have seen them miss the NCAA Tournament for all seven years of Jerod Haase's tenure, Stanford has been working hard to add talent from the transfer portal.

One of the players that they were pursuing was Brown graduate transfer Paxson Wojcik, who announced his commitment to North Carolina on Monday. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 14.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists this season, while shooting 46-percent from the field and 38-percent from three.

The South Carolina native decided to pledge to the Tar Heels during a visit on Monday, and chose UNC over the likes of Kansas, Stanford, Nebraska, and Notre Dame among others.

Stanford has been in contact with a handful of guards, and while they missed out on Wojcik, they will still have a few more opportunities to bolster their roster via the transfer portal.
