Big 12 no longer interested in Stanford or  remaining Pac-12 programs

The Big 12 is no longer an option for the remaining Pac-12

In this story:

There is now one less option for the remaining four Pac-12 schools as according to a report by Action Network's Brett McMuprhy, the conference has 'no appetite' for any of the Pac-12 schools or San Diego State.  The report comes after there was a belief that the Big 12 may end up throwing a life raft to the remaining programs.

However, the interest may have not been reciprocated by Stanford as 247Sports' Jason Scheer indicated earlier on the app formerly known as Twitter that Stanford would have to 'put its pride to the side' if they were to join the Big 12. As it stands right now Stanford is essentially in the waiting room of the ACC, as the conference is set to be vetted and discuss the possibility of adding Stanford.

The case for Stanford is simple: they reside in a prominent TV market, have amazing academics, and are the most successful athletic department in all of college sports. They still would likely join the ACC at a discounted rate, but that is a far better option than merging with the Mountain West or sticking around and waiting for George Kliavkoff to figure something out.
