Getting to the quarterback is the name of the game in football, and Stanford's four-star EDGE out of Miami, Dylan Stephenson is looking to do just that for the Cardinal.

On Wednesday, he was one of Stanford's 23 commits that put pen to paper joining quarterback Elijah Brown and fellow defensive lineman Benedict Umeh among many others to do so. Stephenson was a major get for Troy Taylor and company, as the Stanford program looks to rebuild what has been a struggling unit as of late.

For the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Stephenson, he is viewed as someone who needs a bit of development before he can be a full-time starter. However, Stanford's defensive coordinator Bobby April III is extremely successful at developing defenders, and helping them reach a different level, which is what can happen with Stephenson.

Having players like David Bailey and Ernest Cooper to learn from will only help grow Stephenson's game before he is ready to take over.
