Over the past couple years college sports have been turned upside down by two things. One, the implementation of the transfer portal and one-time transfer rule allowing athletes to transfer and be immediately eligible if it's their first time. Secondly, the passing of the rule that allows for athletes to profit off their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

While most people thought it would only benefit the best football players, some athletes have gotten very creative in their opportunities. NIL has become a major tool in recruiting high school athletes, and has also been a major tool in retaining athletes to your roster as we have seen an epidemic of players leaving their program for NIL reasons.

While some schools like USC, Texas A&M, and Alabama are known for NIL others like Stanford are often overlooked in this space. It is something that the boosters are working on, but there are still athletes that have figured out how to maximize their value.

Let's take a look at who On3 currently has as the athletes with the highest NIL Valuation, which is their estimation of an athlete's NIL earnings.
