After a disappointing 3-9 season a year ago for what was the third losing season in four years, David Shaw opted to step down as the head coach of Stanford. 

The roster was then ravished by the transfer portal with over 20 players leaving the program, and leaving new head coach Troy Taylor with a roster full of inexperienced players all over the field. While the program is in rebuild mode, especially after a recent loss to Sacramento State, it doesn't mean that those who follow the program aren't curious to see how the former Cardinal are doing. So, here are the players who transferred to play football elsewhere.

Barrett Miller, Cal, Ol

Miller was listed as a starter for Stanford's rival and has played in all three of their games. Cal is currently 2-1 on the year with their lone loss coming to Auburn.

Archer has taken on a bigger role as a Hoosier recording three catches in two games thus far after accumulating four total in his two years at Stanford.

In three games played Bowman has recorded four catches for 28 yards, after having just seven career catches at Stanford.
