Aggies SF Khris Middleton Re-Signs On 3-Year Deal With Milwaukee Bucks
Former Texas A&M Aggies small forward Khris Middleton re-signed with the Milwaukee Bucks, his agents Mike Lindeman and Jeff Schwartz told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski Friday.
Middleton's contract is for three years and $102 million after declining his $40 million player option earlier in the summer to become a free agent.
Middleton was drafted by the Detroit Pistons with the No. 39 overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft. He was traded to Milwaukee in 2013 and has spent the last 10 seasons.
The Charleston, SC. native was named an NBA All-Star in three seasons and won the NBA Finals in 2021 — the Bucks' first since 1971.
Middleton arrived at Texas A&M in 2009 as the Aggies' third-best recruit in program history at the time. He now sits 16th all-time.
The small forward averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 rebounds across his three-year career in College Station. In his sophomore season, Middleton averaged 14.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in his sophomore season, including one of the Aggies' 88 30-point games in program history with a 31-point showing against Arkansas Dec. 18, 2010, en route to All-Big 12 Second Team honors.
