Aggies vs. Tigers Men's Hoops: Preview, How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Aggies men's basketball team travels to Baton Rouge on Saturday for a matchup with SEC foe LSU.
Texas A&M sits at 10-7 but just 1-3 in league play and has not gotten out to the fast start coach Buzz Williams anticipated. The Tigers are 11-36 overall and 3-1 over SEC play and will be tasked with stopping Aggies junior guard Wade Taylor IV, who put up 41 points in a last-second loss to the Razorbacks on Tuesday in Fayetteville.
The Aggies have lost three of four since beginning SEC play with losses to LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas while sprinkling in a 97-92 win at No. 6 Kentucky.
The Tigers have won five of their last six with their only loss coming to No. 16 Auburn during that time.
Texas A&M has never won consecutive games on LSU's home court and is coming off a 74-62 win at Pete Maravich Assembly Center last season that ended a five-game losing streak in Baton Rouge. Since joining the SEC in 2012, the Aggies are just 3-8 on the Tigers' home floor.
Taylor needs just one steal to become the ninth Aggie in history to reach 150, and his next field goal will be the 1000th career make. He also needs just six free throw attempts to reach 400.
Aggies Lose Heartbreaker to Razorbacks with Buzzer-Beater
Aggies senior guard Tyrece Radford needs just one rebound for No. 500 in his career, and Andersson Garcia's next rebound will be No. 300 in an Aggies uniform.
