The Texas A&M Aggies fired head coach Jimbo Fisher on Sunday morning, following six seasons at the helm.

Now, they are on the lookout for the next leader of their program... and Johnny Manziel Wants to help.

Taking to Twitter to voice his support for the program, Manziel also alerted Aggies leadership that he would be willing to help in any way that he is able.

“I have faith in the @TAMU leadership to put somebody in place to get us to where we need to be," Manziel tweeted. "The pieces for success are in the building. However, I can help in any capacity I would love nothing more 👍🏼.”

Manziel, who won the Heisman in 2012, has been around the program extensively as of late after opening a bar in College Station called 'Johnny Manziel's Money Bar.'

He also won his Heisman and helped lead the Aggies to an 11-2 record, while playing under Kevin Sumlin, who was replaced by Fisher in December of 2017.

Fisher went on to underperform in his six seasons, finishing with a record of 45-25, including a 5-7 record in 2022 - the worst season for the program since 2003.

“I determined, at this point, and for lots of reasons, our program is stuck in neutral. We should be relevant on the national scene," Aggies AD Ross Bjork said Sunday. "Something is not working, something is not clicking, and therefore, something had to give in order for Aggie football to reach our full potential."

Sumlin, meanwhile, finished 51-26 in his six seasons with the program.
