Aggies Have 2nd-Highest Recruiting Budget In College Football

Only one program in college football spends more money on recruiting than the Texas A&M Aggies.
In this story:

It is no secret that the 2022 season did not go well for the Texas A&M Aggies, as they went a disappointing 5-7. What was seen by some as a chance to take the next step to contend for an SEC title was nothing of the sort.

Now, though, they look to forget last season ever happened and contend for not only an SEC championship but potentially a national title as well.

However, winning on Saturdays is only half of the battle in college football. If you want to be a successful program in both the short and long term, you have to recruit at an elite level.

The Aggies are well aware of this, and according to USA Today have done everything they can to keep pace, sitting with the second-highest recruiting budgets in college football in 2022.

The only school that spends more? The defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs.

After landing a historic recruiting class in 2022 the Aggies followed it up with another solid class in 2023.

And while this year's class might not have been as impressive on paper, it is full of potential difference-makers in key areas.

Recruiting is critical in college football, and with the budget the Aggies have, the results on the recruiting trail have followed.

Now, all that's needed is for those results to translate to more wins on Saturdays, and put another elite class together in 2024.
