Four-Star WR Ashton Bethel-Roman Commits, Signs With Aggies
On Wednesday, Aggies coach Mike Elko and offensive coordinator Collin Klein received some big news for their already top 20 recruiting class for 2024. Four-Star wideout Ashton Bethel-Roman announced his commitment to Texas A&M, signing his letter of intent shortly after.
The Missouri City (TX) Ridge Point High School product was previously committed to Arkansas but reopened his recruiting.
"Ashton Bethel-Roman is a receiver we added," Elko said Wednesday. "We got involved with him in December, tried to get him over the line with us and couldn't." "We got back involved with him. We're really excited about him... I think he's going to add something to our receiver room that we're excited about."
Bethel-Roman adds to the top 20 recruiting class Elko has put together for 2024, and the 6-1, the 180-pound receiver only makes it better.
Five-Star ATH Terry Bussey Reaffirms Commitment, Signs With Texas A&M
Bethel-Roman is ranked as the No. 39 receiver nationally and the No. 39 recruit from the state of Texas. He's the No. 225 overall player in the country. He chose the Aggies over other schools after de-committing from Arkansas including Texas Tech, TCU, Kansas State, Houston, Ole Miss, and others.
Bethel-Roman's commitment comes on the heels of five-star athlete Terry Bussey reaffirming his commitment by signing his letter of intent and closing his recruitment.
Bussey, the No. 11 overall player and No. 1 athlete in the nation, has been committed to the Aggies since September and is the biggest signing of the 2024 class for Elko.
