Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss Kickoff Time, TV Information Announced
The Texas A&M Aggies are currently 2-0 in games that kickoff at 11 a.m. and hope to keep it that way the remainder of the regular season.
The Aggies will take on Ole Miss bright and early at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Nov. 4. the SEC league office announced Monday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Fresh off their bye week following a 20-13 loss against Tennessee, the Aggies are looking to rebound against struggling South Carolina at home. The Gamecocks (2-5, 1-3 SEC), led by third-year coach Shane Beamer, have lost three consecutive games since their Week 4 victory over Mississippi State.
While No. 12 Ole Miss (6-1, 3-1 SEC) could be in for trouble against Jimbo Fisher's Aggies if the offense ignites a spark, it'll have a tune-up match against Vanderbilt for early preparation. The Rebels currently sit in second place in the SEC West standings following their Week 5 upset over LSU at home.
In this series, A&M owns an all-time record of 9-3 but lost its last two games against Ole Miss. Under fourth-year head coach Lane Kiffin, the Rebels are 2-0 against A&M, with wins back-to-back wins in 2021 (29-19) and 2022 (31-28).
The 2020 matchup between the SEC West foes was initially postponed and ultimately canceled due to COVID-19. Some would argue the rivalry between Fisher and Kiffin has become must-see television over the previous two seasons and one of the more prominent showdowns in the conference.
This season, early games seem to bode well for the Aggies (4-3, 2-2 SEC). The Aggies manhandled Auburn's offense in a 27-10 win to open conference play, and later dismantled Arkansas' run game in a 34-22 victory at AT&T Stadium.
In 11 a.m. kicks, the Aggies are 10-1 dating back to 2020. The Aggies are already scheduled to play Abilene Chrisitan at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 for their home finale.
