Aggies Included In 2024 Edge Danny Okoye Top 10
As the summer continues, the Texas A&M Aggies football program isn't sitting still. One of the most critical times for building a program includes campus visits, and that's where we are now in College Station. Coach Jimbo Fisher and Co. have been busy attempting to improve the class of 2024 cycle and as always, defense is a focus.
On Saturday, four-star edge rusher from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Danny Okoye announced his top 10 programs.
Okoye is ranked by On3.com as the No. 1 edge rusher in the state of Oklahoma, the No. 12 edge player nationally, and the No. 160 recruit for the class of 2024.
Okoye's top 10 list includes Colorado, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, and Oklahoma to go along with the Aggies. He recorded 43 tackles, six sacks, and one interception during his 2020 junior season at NOAH Homeschool while recording 10.5 sacks in the 2021 season.
The Aggies offered Okoye back in January and will have some stiff competition since Okoye has 30 offers thus far from most of the top schools across the country.
