Aggies Named in Top 7 by 2024 3-Star TE Korey Duff Jr.
Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher loves his tight ends, and he's paid special attention to that position since arriving in Aggieland. The class of 2024 appears to be no exception as Fisher and Aggies recruiters targeted St. Anthony's High School (Riverhead, NY) tight end Korey Duff Jr, who has placed the Aggies in his top 7 schools.
Duff Jr. is a three-star recruit per On3.com and joins four-star recruit Jaden Platt (Eaton High School, Haslett, TX) in the class of 2024.
A&M hopes to continue its line of talent at tight end from 2023 which includes a trio of sophomores in Donovan Green, Jake Johnson, and Theo Ohlstrom, plus senior Max Wright.
Duff Jr., at 6-5, 200-pounds, is ranked as the 17th tight end nationally by On3.com, and the third from the state of New York.
After his junior season that saw 42 receptions for 995 yards and 12 touchdowns, the Divison 1 offers came, leading to the release of his Top 7 list, which includes Rutgers, UCF, North Carolina, Texas, Miami, Syracuse, and of course, Texas A&M.
