Aggies TE Donovan Green Snubbed

College Sports Wire ranked the top 13 tight ends ahead of the new season.

It's summer in the college football world, meaning spring ball is ahead of us, and the 2023 season is a couple of months away. The program rosters are set for the most part and media outlets can rank and rate each university's chances at putting a winner on the field.

One of those rankings wasn't so kind to Texas A&M Aggies Donovan Green, as College Sports Wire ranked the top 13 tight ends ahead of the new season. Most of the names could be debated with the exception of the top few. But Green is missing from the list completely.

Green recorded 22 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns last season. As a dual-threat tight end who has the ability to be an effective blocker and catch like a wide receiver, his name should've been near the top.

Green stands out with Ainias Smith, Evan Stewart, Noah Thomas, and Moose Muhammad II as the best receivers on the Aggies' roster.

It's possible if his receiving numbers were better he would've at least been considered, but with the uncertainty at the A&M quarterback position, receiving numbers suffered all around for the offense.
