Texas A&M Lands at No. 17 for 2025 On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings

The Texas A&M Aggies are off to a great start with the 2025 recruiting class.
In this story:

Texas A&M, under new head coach Mike Elko, had an eventful National Signing Day for the 2024 recruiting class.

Elko successfully retained the class amid Jimbo Fisher's departure. Despite late interest from other SEC schools, the Aggies welcomed three new recruits, notably five-star athlete Terry Bussey, who chose A&M after initially delaying his signing in December.

Now, Texas A&M has begun to build a strong class for the 2025 cycle, with Deyjhon Pettaway, Kelvion Riggins, and Joshua Moses all committed to the program.

As a result, the Aggies rank No. 17 in the latest edition of the On3 Industry Recruiting rankings.

Elko, now able to fully shift his focus to the 2025 cycle, has his sights set on key prospects like 5-star wide receiver and Aggie legacy Andrew Marsh.

Marsh, who visited College Station on Jan. 20, recently discussed his recruitment with On3. As one of the top talents in the 2025 class, Marsh not only has family ties to Texas A&M but has also been a devoted Aggie fan his entire life.

"Getting to talk to both of those guys just impressed me more by the type of people they are and what they have planned for the program,” Marsh told to On3.“The biggest thing I could see was just the attention to detail and the way they are just way more approachable and easier to talk to. My biggest takeaway from the visit was that they plan to come in and make some big changes for the good of Texas A&M football.”

As a sophomore, Andrew Marsh earned recognition as the Texas District 19-6A newcomer of the year, showcasing his talent on the football field with impressive stats. He caught 53 passes for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns, displaying his prowess as a dynamic playmaker.

In his junior season, Marsh continued to make waves, contributing significantly to Katy Jordan's historic playoff berth. In a standout performance against Morton Ranch, Marsh demonstrated his exceptional skills by catching eight passes for 240 yards and five touchdowns.

His remarkable scoring plays, including receptions of 45, 49, and 70 yards, left a lasting impact on the game.
