The No.11 Oklahoma Sooners will travel to Fort Worth to play the TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday, January 10. TCU is coming off a heartbreaking loss against the No.2 Kansas Jayhawks. TCU has shown they have what it takes to hang with the best teams in the nation. The game is at 8 p.m. CT  and can be seen on ESPN2. It's the season's second Big 12 conference game for both teams.

Oklahoma Guard- #3 Otega Oweh

Oklahoma has produced some of the best shooters in the nation, from Tre Young to Austin Reeves. This is why I decided to choose Otega Oweh. He is not quite at their level yet, but he's only a sophomore and has plenty of time to improve and develop. OU doesn't have the known players that Kansas did. However, their team meshes together nicely, making them a force to be reckoned with.

Oweh has made tremendous improvement from last season and has really been a needed spark for this Sooners team. He is a great movement shooter and can get open to make shots. He is very deadly on the catch-and-shoot, making teams stay on their heels trying to defend him. Oweh is not the best playmaker, but his shot makes up for everything else. TCU needs to guard him hard to avoid him getting hot, because he's the team's biggest weapon, hands down.

Other Players To Watch For:

  • Senior Forward- #10 Sam Godwin
    • Leads team in average rebounds per game
  • Sophomore Guard- #12 Milos Uzan
    • Leads team in average assists per game
  • Junior Forward- #14 Jalon Moore
    • Leads team in average blocks per game
