TCU Basketball Moves To 4-0 For The First Time Since 2020
The TCU Horned Frogs moved to 4-0 with an 86-52 win over Mississippi Valley State on Friday night.
It may have taken over five minutes into the game to get their first lead, but once they did, they never looked back. TCU was able to take advantage of the MVS mistakes by scoring 30 points off of their turnovers.
The Horned Frogs smashed their season average and made Coach Jamie Dixon proud by playing his favorite brand of basketball and scoring 43 fastbreak points. Emanuel Miller finished with 13 points and five assists, all coming off the fastbreak opportunities.
The Horned Frogs shot 53% from the field and only 35% from beyond the three-point line, led by Micah Peavy, who finished 2-3 on the night, with both makes coming at the end of the first half.
Ernest Udeh Jr. led the team with eight rebounds on the night, scoring 11 of their points off of rebounds in the game. JaKobe Coles finished the game with five rebounds and seven points, all coming in the second half.
