TCU Women's Basketball: Madison Conner and Sedona Prince Receive All-Big 12 Honors
It was certainly a season of highs and low for this TCU women's basketball team, but the success has certainly been a bigger takeaway. The regular season comes to a close and the Big 12 tournament awaits the Horned Frogs. Winning four of their last five and getting healthier, TCU will be a tough out in the tournament.
Madison Conner and Sedona Prince were recognized for their efforts this season by the Big 12. They were both the top scorers in the conference and have been a dynamic duo. Injuries prevented them from likely moving higher up the list, but Conner was named second all-Big 12 while Prince got honorable mentions.
Conner averaged 20 points, five rebounds and four three-pointers per game this season. Her 89 threes made was the most by any TCU player in program history. Prince also had a monster regular season averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks per game. She made her presence felt every game she was healthy for and likely would've made the first team had she not gotten injured.Β
Skyler Vann (Oklahoma) and Madison Booker (Texas) took home co-player of the year. Booker was also named freshman of the year.
