Know Your Foe: Texas Tech Football Players to Watch
The TCU Horned Frogs take on Texas Tech on Thursday, November 2. Here are some key players on the Texas Tech team that TCU fans should know before the game.
QB Behren Morton
Texas Tech has been plagued by injuries and had started their third string quarterback. It will be a sigh of relief for Texas Tech to get Behren Morton back after being out with a shoulder injury. Morton is a very young talented pro-style quarterback who truly knows how to run this offense. He doesn't kill teams with the deep ball but does run short plays that pick up great years because of all his fast receivers. TCU needs to be aware that he can sling the ball, and match their speed.

RB Tahj Brooks
Tahj Brooks is one of the best running backs if not the best running back in the Big 12. Brooks has great vision and knows how to find holes to pick up at least a few yards every time. He is not all that quick, but does have short distance acceleration which does help move the offense. Brooks is also a reliable pass-catch option, and gives his offense another option to receive the ball. TCU must be able to stop him to be successful in this game.

WR Myles Price
Myles Price is the team's leading receiver so far this season. He is a part of a very talented Texas Tech receiving core. Price is very quick and effective on deep or slant routes. TCU must keep up with him or he will be a threat.

LB Ben Roberts
Ben Roberts leads this team in total tackles as a true freshman. He is very talented and a key to the Texas Tech defense. Standing at 6'3" 230 lbs., he is an absolute monster on defense. He is very good a doing both covering receivers and rushers. He can break up passes or stop the run you name it. TCU will have to make meaningful passes and runs or he will be a problem.
