TCU Football at Oklahoma: Staff Predictions And Game Previews
The TCU Horned Frogs (5-6, 3-5) played one of their most complete games of the season last week against Baylor. Now, they find themselves in a must-win game in the regular season finale. If the Frogs can beat No. 13 Oklahoma (9-2, 6-2) on Black Friday, they will be bowl eligible. If they lose, they will become the first team in a non-COVID-shortened year to not make a bowl game the year after making the College Football Playoffs.
The game is Friday, November 24 at 11 a.m. CT. It can be seen on Fox.
This will be the 24th time the two teams have met and the 12th and last time as Big 12 foes. Oklahoma holds a 17-6 all-time series lead and a 9-2 Big 12 record. TCU has not won in Norman since joining the Big 12. The last time the Frogs won in Norman was in 2005 when they beat No. 5 Oklahoma 17-10 on the way to an 11-1 season. The Frogs, though, did get a huge 55-24 win last year in Fort Worth.
Oklahoma is currently a 9-5-point favorite per SISportsbook.com. But how does our staff feel the game will go?
In Week 12, our team unanimously picked TCU. JD (TCU 45-Baylor 20) and Carson (TCU 36-Baylor 17) came the closest. After 11 games, Andrew remains at the top of our leaderboard with an 8-3 record and two closest score predictions. Only three of our team chose TCU this week to win this must-win game.
