The All-Women TCU Rifle team won their second match of the season this past weekend against Georgia Southern. The #2 ranked Frogs, led by Katie Zaun and Stephanie Grundsoee, won their first head-to-head dual with a score of 4,734.

The Frogs scored 2,350 in smallbore in the match. Zaun scored 592, and Grundsoee trailed close behind with a score of 591. Jeanne Haverhill, placing fourth in the discipline, shot a career-high 585. Anne White and Stephanie Allan both tallied a score of 52, and Mikole Hogan rounded out the top ten by hitting 577.

In air rifle, the Horned Frogs finished with a score of 2,384. The Frogs had the top three scores in the discipline: a career-high 599 from White and a 598 from both Zaun and Grundsoee. Haverhill and Allan both contributed with a score of 594, while Hogan shot a 593. Every member of the team scored above 592 with Nina Schuett's performance.

The All-Womens rifle team closes their road trip to start this season with a trip to the number seven ranked Air Force on October 21 at 10 a.m.
