TCU Volleyball Reverse Sweeps Oklahoma
After narrow losses in the first two sets, TCU stormed back and took down Oklahoma in five sets (22-25, 23-25, 29-27, 25-23 and 15-13). This is the Horned Frogs' second consecutive win as they now improve to 12-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Things were looking good for the Frogs in set one, where they led late 17-13. The Sooners responded with a 6-0 run to take the lead and scored the final three points to secure the set. A similar thing happened in set two which saw the TCU lead wither away late.
There were 16 times when the score was knotted up with nine lead changes in set three. Taylor Raiola gave TCU the lead late, and Audrey Nalls delivered the final kill to win it.
The resiliency was on full display the entire match as they once again trailed in the final set, but a 5-1 run capped off by an ace by Jalyn Gibson gave the Frogs the win.
