Editor's Note: Paul Corliss, TCU Class of 1997, wrote the following story of family, baseball, and music. Enjoy his story and check out his performances on Saturday at Texas Live!

As a TCU alum and a rabid TCU baseball fan, there are few things I enjoy more than my annual pilgrimage to witness our team in action. For over a decade, this tradition has been a cherished bonding experience with my father, filled with unforgettable victories, championship moments, and pure joy.

This year, our trip to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas holds an extra layer of excitement. Not only will we be rooting for the Frogs as they take on Arizona State and USC, but I'll also be bringing another passion to the forefront – playing music.

Paul Corliss + Dirty South will perform live before and after Saturday's ASU game at Troy's Texas Live, just steps away from the stadium. The pregame gig kicks off at 3 p.m., setting the tone for a perfect afternoon of college baseball. Then, after the game, the celebration continues with a full band performance starting at 9 p.m. All free shows!

For the evening performance, I have a killer band that will deliver an authentic tribute to Southern Rock and Outlaw Country, taking listeners on a journey through classics from legends like the Black Crowes, the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Waylon Jennings. The afternoon gig will include 10 of my original songs, all of which are available on your favorite streaming app — my new original single, Chicago Feels has more than 55,000 streams on Spotify alone since being released on Christmas Day.

Thanks for letting me share my story — it's a unique opportunity to merge three passions (family, TCU baseball, and music) into one unforgettable experience. I look forward to seeing old friends and plenty of purple in the stadium and at Troy's for live music.

So come out, grab a cold beverage, cheer on our Horned Frogs, and say hello to my dad and me. Let's make this weekend at Globe Life Field a celebration of TCU pride, live music, and cherished moments with friends and loved ones.
