Early Betting Lines Open For Tennessee vs. Vandy

The Tennessee Volunteers (7-4, 3-4) open as a large favorite over the Vanderbilt Commodores (2-9, 0-7).
In this story:

Tennessee has fallen short of expectations this season. The Vols sit at 7-4 after a blowout home loss to the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. Though things are tough in Knoxville, Tennessee, they have another opportunity to get back into the win column. The Vanderbilt Commodores come to town on Saturday in the annual in-state rivalry.

The Vols open the week as a large favorite. Only two sportsbooks have listings for the game: Caesar's Sportsbook and Draft Kings. Both carry just the spreads for now, but the money line and over/unders should be posted within the next few days.

Betting Lines as of 11/19 - Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee

  • Caesar's Sportsbook: Tennessee -26
  • Draft Kings: Tennessee -25

Head coach Josh Heupel has a 2-0 record against the Commodores during his time with Tennessee. That total must move to 3-0, or there will be some difficult conversations in Knoxville this offseason. Public perception is down on the Vols, but they have the talent to end the season in a strong way.
