Glen Elarbee Visits Bear Tenney

Tennessee Volunteers offensive line coach Glen Elarbee stopped by Lehi High School to check in on 2025 three-star tight end Bear Tenney (Lehi, Ut.).
In this story:

The Tennessee coaching staff has been working their way through the recruiting trail and checking in on some talented 2025 prospects. They landed Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre on Monday, a foundational building block for this class. Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel zeroed in on MacIntyre from the beginning of the process, and now he has another elite quarterback.

While the win was big for this coaching staff, they continued hitting the trail hard on Monday. Heupel stopped by Vero Beach High School to check on four-star linebacker Tarvos Alford, an elite defensive prospect who's also high on Florida, Miami, And Ohio State. Meanwhile, offensive line coach Glen Elarbee was out in Utah checking on Lehi tight end Bear Tenney. Tenney is the No. 376 prospect in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

The Vols already have a tight end in the 2025 class, Southlake Carroll's Jack VonDorselaer. However, Tennessee is a little thin at the position past their top two guys, and they must gain depth for the future. Taking multiple tight ends in this class is a major possibility, and Tennessee won't shy away from it.
