Jalin Hyatt Makes More Visits

Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is continuing to rack up top-30 visits as preparation builds for the draft.
In this story:

After meeting with the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday during the day, Jalin Hyatt met with the Dallas Cowboys last night. He is also meeting with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday.

Hyatt is projected to be selected toward the back half of the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The Browns do not pick until the third round, which makes the visit very interesting. Perhaps they are looking into trading up for Hyatt. The Cowboys are picking 26th overall, and the Saints are picking 29th.

Volunteer Country’s Brady Penn has already highlighted the Browns’ situation. As for the Cowboys, their room is pretty full of talent. In addition to young star CeeDee Lamb, they just traded for veteran Brandin Cooks, and they also have Michael Gallup. It would be a bit surprising to see them use a first-round pick on a wide receiver, but anything is possible. In New Orleans, Chris Olave is coming off of a very impressive rookie season, and veteran Michael Thomas is still with the team.

Still, his availability has been limited over the past couple of seasons. Again, it would be a bit unexpected for the Saints to go with a wide receiver in the first round, but it seems a bit more likely than Dallas doing so, just based on each current receiving corps. The NFL Draft starts on April 27 in Kansas City, Missouri.
